In my last post, I shared about self-awareness and self-assessment. I also talked about openness for criticism. Many of friends asked me if we should be open for all kind of criticism.
Listening as well as understanding the criticism is important. In the understanding part, one is to understand the message and content of criticism and another part is to filter the criticism into criticism or constructive criticism.
Criticism is not new to us, we do see it in day and day out. We do hear about back-talk, grapevine but how much it is constructive is what we need to see. Many criticisms are not objective and they are emotionally originated which we need to understand and handle accordingly.
I wrote about this in one of the posts
Look out for the people and resources who provide objective and constructive feedback with positive intentions.
