Grant Funding

I have recently been able to assist a number of new clients and also support some existing clients courtesy of a Train to Gain grant for Leadership and Management training. I have banged on about this Grant previously but a number of people have now clicked on to it and availed themselves of up to £1,000 of Government money for training.

The main grant available is for Leadership and Management under the auspices of the Government’s Train to Gain initiative. This is applicable for any business employing 5 or more employees. These can be full or part time. There is an initial grant of £500 and a further £500 of matched funding. So if I invoice you £1,500 you will get £1,000 back. Now there has to be a requirement and so do recommend a meeting to discuss this and allow me to put you in touch with the appropriate Train to Gain Broker.

There are other grants available too under the title “Beyond 2010”. These allow for £2,500 of matched funding. They are however more restricted in their focus being aligned to certain types of industries. Give me a call to review that.
